Latitude seemed to gather the pieces that had intricately contoured and layered surfaces.

We loved the serendipitous relationships that emerged between the works and we imagined how the artists could be speaking to each other across oceans and continents.

The four corners showed works which travelled from Chicago, Paris, New Zealand and Germany. The central areas contained images from Rarotonga, Glasgow and Hobart. Poetry kept company with etching, finely wrought collages supported a mud map of a vineyard and there were dialogues between mermaids and maidens.
